25 Octubre: MATLAB Tools for Teaching and Research

We invite you to join us for this one day seminar with Loren Shure as keynote speaker. Loren co-authored several MathWorks products and has made important contributions to the MATLAB language design.
MATLAB Tools for Teaching and Research
Universidad Politécnica de Cataluña
25 October 2017
12:00 – 15:00
This session is divided in two parts:
  1.  MATLAB Tools for Teaching and Research (in Spanish)
  2.  Data Analytics with MATLAB (in English)
During the first part we will explore tools for teaching and research with MATLAB campus licence and e-learning web platforms such us:
  •  Cody Courseworkcreate MATLAB programming assignments for students and automatically grade their work
  •  Online Training

In the second part, you will learn how Data Analytics can turn large volumes of complex data into actionable information and improve design and decision-making processes.  You will learn approaches and techniques available in MATLAB to tackle these challenges, including:

  •  Accessing, exploring, and analyzing data stored in files, the web, and data warehouses.
  •  Tips for cleaning, visualizing, and combining complex multivariate data sets.
  •  Prototyping, testing, and refining predictive models using machine learning methods.
  •  Integrating and running analytics within enterprise business systems and interactive web applications

At the end of the event, certificates of attendance will be provided.
