UPClink Configuration guide (English)

Setup the new UPClink connection in your computer or mobile device to access remotely to the Xarxa UPC resources.

First of all, you'll need to enable your 2FA. You can follow this procedure.

After that, you'll need to download the VPN client. You can download the last version from the official source: https://www.fortinet.com/support/product-downloads#vpn

Download the Forticlient VPN only version for your operation system and install it.

If you are using a smartphone or tablet (Android, iOS) you can also find the client in the App store. Just tape Forticlient in the search option and download the Forticlient VPN app.

Once installed, open Forticlient and enter the following parameters (they may differ depending on your OS):

Connection name: VPN UPClink
Remote Gateway/Server : myupclink.upc.edu
Port: 443 (default)
Enable the option: Enable Single Sign On (SSO) for VPN Tunnel

Save the configuration. Now you can login to the VPN with the SAML login option:

You have to enter your user name and password + OTP code . After that, you should be able to successfully connect to the VPN.
